Salgados Golf Course
Salgados Golf Course, situated in one of the best-known regions of the Algarve, between Albufeira and Armação de Pêra, and is already a 'postcard' of Portugual golf courses. In fact, the proximity of the sea and the variety of lakes make this a very unique and interesting test of golfing skills, different from other courses in the Algarve.|The 6,000 metre links, replete with water obstacles, is not very long, but the sea breeze obliges players to use all theyr skills to reach the greens. The accuracy of the drive is crucial for achieving good scores, thus making the course a pleasant experience, especially for technically-skilled player.

I ove to enter the course and clubhouse. When you go through the clubhouse and see all the palm trees it is incredible. I really love to play this course. Challenging but not unfair.

Best course we played and very, very challenging. Water a great feature on nearly all holes. Greens were true and very quick, probably the best we have played in the Algarve.

Played twice May 2025. Course has had alot of work done recently and can still see evidence of it in places but course is still very good. The greens are immaculate and have a good pace on them. Challanging course with all the water but good. We did have a bit pressure put on us to speed up as the 3 and 2 ball ahead of us had gained a hole but understandably seen as we were a 4 ball. Not ideal feeling like you have to race around the course as it takes the fun out of it and personally made me play poor due to lack of concentration. All in all a great course though and would play again

At first, the lady at the Proshop counter asked us to pay for our green fees, we had to tell her that we had paid for them in advance. I was disappointed that our golf package didn’t not include the golf cart (buggy). Other than that, we had a good overall experience at Solgado golf course. I wish they would provide drinking water on the course.

Poor experience due to renovations and weather conditions but I'd like to thank Simon Brice who followed up and provided amazing support to my group and I to resolve the matter. I played this course twice the first time it was raining all week and the course was wet and soft but still playable 6 days later the weather had improved and the course was in excellent condition staff very friendly and accommodating
